Who we are

Our website address is: https://bingbumpier.com

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, along with the visitor's IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service to check whether you use it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is at automattic.com/privacy. After your comment is approved, your profile picture is visible to the public alongside your comment.

Media

If you upload images, please avoid images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the website can download and extract location data from such images.

Cookies

If you leave a comment, you may opt in to having your name, email, and website saved in cookies, so you do not have to fill them in again for future comments. These cookies last one year.

If you visit our login page, a temporary cookie is set to test whether your browser accepts cookies. It contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, additional cookies save your login information and screen display choices. Login cookies last two days; screen-option cookies last a year. If you select "Remember Me," your login lasts two weeks. Logging out removes the login cookies.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (videos, images, articles). Embedded content from other sites behaves exactly as if you visited those sites directly. They may collect data, use cookies, embed third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with the embedded content.

Who we share your data with

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely so we can recognize follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in moderation. For registered users, profile information is stored and can be edited or deleted by the user at any time (except for the username).

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account or have left comments, you can request an export of your personal data, or request that we erase it. This does not include data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security reasons.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
